Rony Najjar, MD. FACS

Dr. Rony Najjar, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the Chief of Trauma Surgery at Huntsville Hospital where he started the trauma program in 1995. He is also the Professor and Chief of Surgery at UAB-Huntsville Campus. Dr. Najjar proudly served in the Army Medical Reserves and was honorably discharged in 2005 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He completed his fellowship in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care from Jackson Memorial Hospital, Ryder Trauma Center, Miami, Florida and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Najjar also functions as a Medical Tactical Support Physician for the Huntsville Police Department SWAT Team.
